Phentermine is an appetite suppressant that affects the central nervous system.
Used together with diet, exercise, and behavior therapy for to treat obesity (overweight). The active substance Phenterminum resinatum is bound in the form of polystyrene sulfonate, from which it is gradually released into the body. Slow release of the drug leads to a continuous anorectic effect lasting at least 8 hours.
Take Adipex exactly as prescribed by your doctor
Usually the recommended dose is one capsule a day, 30 minutes before breakfast.
Do not use in the evening, because the drug substance can cause nervousness and insomnia.
The medicine is usually well tolerated, but dizziness, headaches, insomnia, nervousness, dry mouth, taste disorders, vomiting, constipation, or diarrhea may occur. In addition, there may be pain in the chest, sexual dysfunction, urination disorders and rare skin rashes. If you take more than 3 months, youcan experience heart disease and addiction. Adipex-75 contains soybean oil. If you are allergic to peanuts or soy, do not take this medicine. If any undesirable effects or other unusual reactions occur, talk with your doctor about your next use.
Do not take Adipex-75 if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredient or other ingredients if you have a respiratory tract, high blood pressure, heart disease, a vessel or brain, an increased thyroid function, or diabetes. Under no circumstances does Adipex-75 accept pregnant and lactating women. Adipex-75 should not be taken concomitantly with other medicines to suppress appetite.
Do not take this medicine longer than prescribed without checking with your doctor.
Do not use Adipex-75 if you are also taking guanadrel, guanethidine, furazolidone, fenfluramine, dexfenfluramine, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding, history of heart conditions. Contact your doctor if you have any questions or concerns about using this medicine.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered if it is within an hour or so. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Store this medication at room temperature 15°-30°C (59°-86°F) in a tight container away from heat and light.
